Micosta has been present at the Hudson Farmer’s Market with between 35 to 40 dishes each week for the past three years. We have earned the reputation for excellent and healthy food. Our tasty dishes made with local ingredients come from recipes around the world. Micosta is pleased that we will be offering our customers the pleasure of a relaxing Sunday brunch on a weekly basis . In the future we are considering expanding to Friday and/or Saturday dinners. On other days the restaurant area will be open for rental for parties with catering and decorating services available.
The Sunday buffet is a complete multi-course meal. Appetizers including a selection of cheeses, crackers, and relish items are good for starters. Two to three soups will always be available. Many customers rave about the fish soup which comes from a recipe that Steven developed when he was living in Costa Rica. The salad bar has a selection of raw greens and vegetables, as well as selected special seasonal salads. Green Supreme dressing and others are served. Main dishes are available pre-made in the steam table and available by short order. French-style crepes, waffles, and breads are available with fruit compotes and jam. Sides include grain, bean, and potato dishes along with pastas and vegetables. Desserts will feature Micosta ice creams, chocolates, and fruit pies made with no white sugar. Beverages include juices, teas, and coffee. Eventually alcoholic drinks will be available, but for now customers can BYOB.
Plenty of vegetarian options are available. Menu changes weekly and is posted on emicosta.com. Reservations are preferred 518-451-0109.
